Labor Day signals the end of summer for most, even if we're not ready for it. In DC, we enjoy one more week of Congress-free bliss before recess ends and politicians flood the city once again.
Right now, as it's in the 90s, it's hard to imagine wearing sweaters, but in evening, you can start to feel the first chilly gusts of fall. And stores have already lined their shelves with sumptuous sweaters and cozy cardigans to ward away these very chills. Intarsia and navajo-inspired sweaters are big this fall, and mixing prints is also super hip, so don't shy away from these bold patterns.
Make sure you get some neat knitwear this fall. Although I very much swear by my J. Crew Jackie cardigans as a go-to staple when the office A/C is on full blast, God knows I don't need another boring cardigan in my closet.
